Day 1: Marrakech – Atlas Mountains – Ait Ben Haddou – Dades Valley

Day 2: Dades Valley – Todra Gorges – Erfoud

In the afternoon, our friendly camels wait for you for a slow ride into the sand. The sunset turns the world into gold! You sleep in a wonderful tent with a real bed and shower tonight. The delicious dinner and music under the million bright stars are amazing.

Day 4: Merzouga – Rissani – Draa Valley – Agdez

Please, get up very early on day four. The sand changes from violet to orange. After a hot breakfast, we start to drive to the Draa Valley. This is a special part of our Morocco Holidays tours because it is so green. We go through the town of Rissani, where the market is very old and busy. Further on, we find the Draa Valley with more palm trees than you can count! We spend the night in Agdez, a small town with old castles and gardens—this is the essence of this type of tour. This part of your trip teaches you how to live in a quiet desert oasis.

Day 5: Agdez – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou

On the fifth day, we head to Ouarzazate City to visit the big movie studios where you can see locations used in movies like Gladiator. We then head toward the village of Ait Ben Haddou, where we spend the night in a traditional hotel nearby. This more leisurely pace is why people prefer our longer Morocco Tours.

Staying by the Kasbah lets you catch sight of the ancient buildings when the sun is setting. The light makes the mud bricks appear as if they are on fire. You have enough time to walk through the narrow streets and meet local artists. It is a peaceful evening before returning to the city.

Day 6: Ait Ben Haddou – Atlas Mountains – Marrakech

Your 6 Days Marrakech Desert Tour is at its last stage, but we still have beauty to see. We return over the High Atlas Mountains and stop for any photos you may have missed. As we return home, you catch a final glimpse of the green valleys and rocky peaks. The drive is a great ending to your holiday trip to Morocco. We arrive in Marrakech in the late afternoon, and your driver takes you right to your Riad door.
